Tigerpig lawlz

If she can resist, so can I!

Day 6

So it's been a few days since I've posted, nothing has really been too interesting although I'm finding that not eating pork is harder for me than not eating beef. I never realized just everything they make from poor, unsuspecting piglets! I almost cheated the other day but I resisted the temptation. I made breakfast for supper (possibly another "Texas" thing) and I made gravy from bacon grease. I really didn't have much trouble passing up the bacon but the gravy...oh man! lol I settled for pancakes and eggs instead. *proudface*

Day 7 and 8

Nothing to report except that I MADE IT! I ate a whole lot of chicken and still am, but I did it. I can't say I'm doing as well on the blog as I did the "diet" but at least I'm finally updating. I've been going through some crazy personal shit on top of being constantly preoccupied with lawlz and hugz. As soon as I have an actual day off and time to think I'll be back in top form. As of today : still not eating red meat or pork. So hooray for me!

i less than three bacon

Me in my I heart Bacon t-shirt.

Day 3

Today was a pretty decent day - except for the 7 loads of laundry I finally succumbed to doing today. I had my usual for breakfast and refried beans for brunch. I'm Texan, don't worry. As a late lunch I had some chicken fried rice (yes, more chicken). It's only day 3, but so far it hasn't really been that hard to resist a greasy hamburger - although I do find myself noticing which fast food places I shouldn't even bother stopping at.

For dinner, I went out with a couple of my friends. We were celebrating Robert Pattinson's birthday because he is the man of our dreams and we never entirely got over our Tiger Beat years. I made an executive decision for all of us to try Thai food (at the only Thai place in town I should add), I'll give you three guesses as to what I had (hint: rhymes with fricken!). I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and I gotta say - it was really good. Of course I asked for the "level 1 spicy" - I might be Texan but I'm still a weenie when it comes to spicy food.

No Spicy Chicken Pad Thai

So over all, a pretty decent day. Boring of course -although I did see a trashcan fire right next to some gas pumps at a gas station and I thought I might get to see an explosion, the fire department showed up though . No explosions today. *sadface* Also a big thanks to everyone that listened to me bitch about life in general today. i less than three you guys.

i no haz flavor!!1!

Alright, I'm officially on day two of the blog and the no red meat for a week. So far, so good.

I almost slipped up late last night and had some unbelievably good cheese dip, but it has bacon in it. I'm glad I caught myself or I would have had to start all over.

Due to not having much imagination when it comes to food, I now realize that I might be eating a lot of chicken. I had coffee for breakfast, which is typical unless I work and find myself hungry. For lunch I stopped at Taco Bueno and got a chicken quesadilla. I have a suspicious nagging voice telling me that I may need to find some other food outlet because chicken is going to get old, fast.

In unrelated news, I lost my debit card and killed my car battery by leaving the radio running while I cleaned out the inside, so far this week. That might tell you the utterly deplorable condition the inside of my car was in, but at least it's nice and clean now - too bad I had to wait 15 minutes to get the car started again. It might also tell you that I'm one of those people who "loses" things often. I can't imagine why - I clean out my car once every 6 months or so, there's no reason the things I shove in there shouldn't be there half a year later. Ugh.

9:30pm update : Ate the rest of my quesadilla and had some more coffee. After I borrowed a lighter since I lost mine - which I found as soon as I borrowed one. *sigh* This is my life.

no more red meat

Greetings to those of you I less than three. You know who you are.

Blog day: 1

No Red Meat For A Week day: 1

I Don't Want To Go To Work Day: 4,376,215

So, this blog will obviously be inane and pointless but at the moment I actually have something to post progress on. I promised a friend that I would eat no red meat (which apparently includes pork - who knew?) for a week. So, at the very least, I can post about what I eat every day. Doesn't that sound exciting? Well, bite me because it is! I rarely commit to anything that might possibly inconvenience me so this is obviously a Very Big Deal.

What I've ingested so far today : a cup of coffee.

Kim: 1
Red Meat: 0.

Game on.

10:30am update: I got some Chikin-minis from Chic-fil-A for breakfast.

2:00 update: I had pasta salad for lunch. It wasn't that good. =\ Thank goodness I had breakfast today. With meat. Forgive me?
<--My not-so-yummy pasta salad.

9:00pm-ish update : I tried a Boca chicken and swiss sandwich for dinner - I was really stoked about it because I actually was under the impression it was completely vegan - which Jon (otherwise known as my vegan less-than-three-er) was nice enough not to point out that SWISS is actually cheese. I'm not really a stupid person, I just play one in real life. Anyways, I think I did a pretty awesome job today. It wasn't fully vegan but it was definitely weak - willed vegetarian.
